Young Minds Advocacy uses strategic communications and collaborative advocacy to help youths, their families, and communities access mental health services and supports, and improve mental health system performance and accountability.

We are reforming state and local policies and programs in California to better serve young people with mental health challenges, their families, and their communities.
Impact Litigation
Our attorneys engage in system reform litigation that increases access to quality community-based mental healthcare for thousands of young people in California and other Western states.
Strategic Communications
We are changing attitudes about mental illness and educating the public about the mental health needs of young people. We also train and assist youths, families, and their allies to effectively engage with decision-makers on policies and programs that affect their lives.
